Huxley Bertram Case Study
Ventilation & Heat Recovery System
Huttie were appointed to carry out the installation of a ventilation and heat recovery system for Huxley Bertram at their premises in Waterbeach.
Being a key and regular customer, the opportunity to undertake this project during a period when the factory was operating at full-capacity and playing its part in the Coronavirus support process ensured that the Huttie team was solely focused on providing a top-quality finished product which would serve the premises well in the years to come.
The installation involved:
- 4 x Mitsubishi MVHR systems
- Ductwork and grilles
- Hard-wired system controllers
- Power supplies
We worked with management at Huxley Bertram to design a bespoke system to suit their specific needs which involved high-level ductwork routes through the workshops, to avoid the high-tech machinery being manufactured, and ducted grilles in the offices which can be customised to suit the preferences of the personnel at work.
Delivered through night-shift work due to the factory’s opening hours, there was a strict deadline to ensure manufacturing timescales were not halted or disrupted by the works.
