Huntingdon Town Council Case Study
New Community Hall
Huttie were appointed to carry out the cooling and ventilation of a new community hall for Huntingdon Town Council called the Coneygear Centre.
Being a new community project we were delighted to get the chance of working on an important landmark for local residents. The new centre was replacing the existing 40 year-old structure which was extremely popular for local projects and activities but space and facilities were limited and dated.
The installation involved:
- A new Daikin air conditioning system
- Individual controllers for each unit
- A new 3 metre kitchen extractor canopy
- Extractor fans throughout the centre
- Power supplies to the new installations
We worked with the main contractors to design a bespoke air conditioning system to suit the new centre and each individual function room. We also designed ventilation and extraction systems to the kitchen, changing, and toilet areas to ensure a suitable level of fresh air flow throughout the centre.
