New Bowling Green Lighting
Huttie were appointed to carry out the lighting installation for the bowling green at Chesterton Indoor Bowls Club in Cambridge.
Being a new client it was important for this installation to go smoothly and from the follow-up and repeat works we have been involved with at this premises it is safe to say the Huttie team demonstrated their quality, skills, and workmanship to gain another long-term customer.
The installation involved:
- Asbestos survey and removal
- Removal of existing fluorescent tube lighting
- LED lighting design and installation
We worked with the bowls club to design a bespoke lighting installation to suit their specific needs which involved specific luxe levels over the bowling green which had to be perfectly even for the competitions and events held.
Working on an old building and system requiring modernisation, it was important the team took all necessary precautions to prevent structural disruption and ensure all new fittings would suit the environment.
